	Description Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream contains betamethasone dipropionate USP, a synthetic adrenocorticosteroid, for dermatologic use.

How to use

This medication is to be used as directed by the physician. It is for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes.
The treated skin area should not be bandaged or otherwise covered or wrapped as to be occlusive.


	Side Effects The following local adverse reactions are reported infrequently when Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream is used as recommended: burning, itching, irritation, dryness, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acneiform eruptions, hypopigmentation, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, maceration of the skin, secondary infection, skin atrophy, striae, miliaria.


	Drug Interaction There are no known drug interactions with topical betamethasone dipropionate.


	Over Dose Topically applied corticosteroids can be absorbed in sufficient amounts to produce systemic effects. Please consult your physician immediately if an overdose is suspected.


	Uses Betamethasone dipropionate is used for the relief of itching and inflammation associated with a wide variety of skin conditions.


	Storage All preparations should be kept between 20 and 30�C (36-86�F).


	Precaution Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to betamethasone dipropionate, to other corticosteroids, or to any ingredient in this preparation.
