Fever
Diarrhea
Severe Rash
Vomiting/Nausea
Breathing Difficulties
Blood in Urine/Stool
Seizures/Convulsions
Unusual Bleeding/Bruising
Drug Interaction
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.
If you suspect an overdose call the emergency department or your doctor immediately.
Missed Dose
you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
Uses
Colchicine is used to treat acute flares of gouty arthritis and to prevent recurrent acute attacks.
Storage
Colchicine should be stored below 86 F (30 C).
