Mitaban (Amitraz Liquid) relieves dog / cats of skin irritations by killing mites. Amitraz belongs to a class of medication known as mono-amine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI).
How to use
Use as prescribed by veterinarian.
Side Effects
Side effects that may occur :
1-Itching
2-Edema
3-Diarrhea
4-Vomiting
5-Convulsions
6-Hyperexcitability
7-Increased appetite
8-Increased urination
9-Skin rash/other skin irritation
10-Short term sleepiness (in treated animals)
Drug Interaction
Inform the veterinarian about your pet(s)history and any other medication that he may be taking before you start a course of Mitaban treatment.
Over Dose
If you suspect an overdose of Mitaban call the emergency department or your doctor immediately.
Notes
Mitaban is Not for human use.
Missed Dose
Do not double doses to make up for a missed one.
Storage
Store in a cool dry place away from children.
