Description

Atomoxetine is the first non-stimulant medication FDA-approved for Attention Deficit Disorder.
Atomexetine is not a stimulant but a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. Norepinephrine plays a key role in ADD, ADHD and depression.

WARNING !!!

Children and teenagers with ADHD who take atomoxetine are more likely to think about killing themselves than children and teenagers with ADHD who do not take atomoxetine.

Watch your childs behavior very carefully if he/she is taking atomoxetine especially any time his or her dose is increased or decreased.
Call your child's doctor right away if any changes in your child's behaviour seem sudden or unusual.
Your child's doctor may also want to speak with you or your child by telephone from time to time. Keep all appointments for office visits or telephone conversations with his or her doctor.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions. Talk to your doctor about the risks of giving atomoxetine to your child.
